Below you will find Submittable instructions to get started.
- You will need to create a free Submittable account using the same email address you provide in the application.
- You can save a draft of your work if you would like to finish filling out the application at a later time.
- If you need to make changes to your form, please withdraw your submission and resubmit.
- If anything changes with the information you submitted, please request to edit the submission
- The Submittable platform works best on Google Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. Internet Explorer is not supported. Please make sure you are using a supported browser, and that the files are valid file types. You can find the acceptable file types under the "Choose File" button on the application.
- We will follow-up with you about your submission by email. Please be sure to safelist notification emails from Submittable and check the email you used to sign up for your Submittable Account regularly.

We are excited to learn more about your company and appreciate the time and effort you are investing in this process. Once you proceed and create an account, you will see an eligibility confirmation page to ensure your company meets the basic eligibility criteria for the program. After that, you will see the application, where we ask for specific details used by our investment team to evaluate your company.
This is a highly competitive program, so we encourage you to be thorough and put your best foot forward. If you have a question as you complete the application, please reach out to NYVenturesPreSeed@esd.ny.gov or attend NY Ventures' weekly office hours.
Your information will be saved in real time as you input it into the system, so there is no need to complete the application in one sitting.
